No F12 key on Microsoft Surface Pro Keyboard

Then, how do install your corporate network image on the Microsoft Surface Pro ?

1. Attach the Microsoft Surface Pro Ethernet Adapter to the Microsoft Surface Pro.
2. Press and hold both the volume down button and power button until the Microsoft Surface Pro starts to boot.   –> “Checking Media Presence ……” –> “Start PXE over IPv4”.
3. When prompted, press Enter for network boot service.

Advanced Boot Startup Options in Windows 8

The new metro style Advanced Boot Startup Options menu for Windows 8 includes various system repair, recovery, and troubleshooting options to help you fix at boot. The selected option will remain in affect until the next time you restart Windows 8.

Hold down SHIFT key while tapping or clicking on Restart, available from any Power icon.

Want a Windows 8 Start Button = Classic Shell

Windows 8 no longer includes the traditional Start Menu that Windows users have become associated with using.

A free and open-source software called Classic Shell has been updated to support the ability to add a Start Menu to Windows 8.

Versions 3.6.0 and later officially support Windows 8 RTM (and Windows Server 2012)

Turn Windows features ON or OFF, select .net framework 3.5 and install Realtek HD Audio R.2.68.

Manually Create the “Manage Wireless Networks” Shortcut

1. Right click on desktop, and click on New and Shortcut.

2. Copy and paste the location below into the location area, and click on the Next button.
