Free entry for vehicles
From next Monday, foreign-registered vehicles entering Singapore will be allowed free entry from noon onwards,
instead of the usual 5pm, on weekdays. This is in conjunction with the June school holidays and part of ongoing initiatives to attract foreign visitors to the Republic. The shorter Vehicle Entry Permit (VEP) operating hours will end
on June 28. Under the VEP scheme, car drivers pay $20 a day to enter Singapore, while motorcyclists pay $4.
